This provides the instrument with a dynamic projection and instant response. Built with a Macassar ebony body, binding and slim bevel armrest, this Alvarez acoustic-electric is equipped with an Alvarez SYS250 preamp with sidemount 3-band EQ, Presence control and a convenient chromatic tuner. The term “solid top” of course refers to the soundboard of an acoustic guitar being made of solid wood, rather than being laminated.
